Generic LeapFrog Connect USB Cable for Leap Pad
1, 2, Leapster Explorer, GS, and 2.
Used, Many lengths available.  A minimum of 12 inches long, most are 24-36 inches,  These are NOT official LeapFrog cables but have the same connection plugs and will work the same.
This cable will connect your LeapPad1 or LeapPad2,
Leapster Explorer, Leapster GS, and Leapster 2
to your computer.  It assists you to connect to the LeapFrog Connect program that is available for download to your computer.  The LeapFrog Connect program allows you to manage the content on the LeapFrog Leapster or LeapPad - you can download games directly from the internet.  Also, the online program stores all of the games that you have purchased and you can download the games to any of your LeapFrog devices.
This is NOT the charger.  The charger cable plugs into a different port on the LeapPad and plugs into a wall outlet so you can run the LeapPad without batteries.  It is also used to charge the LeapPad rechargeable batteries.  You will have to buy the charger cord separately.  I have used charger cords, and many other
