This is a juvenile tooth fossil of Tyrannosaurus Rex collected in Powder Country, Montana, USA.
A beautiful specimen with a sharp tip preserved.
It is a natural specimen without restoration, and the enamel has natural patterns (wrinkles and patterns).
It is basically brown, but there are also black here and there, and it is a beautiful color that can be called a tiger pattern.
Fossil colors change as minerals from the surrounding environment seep into the fossil.
This phenomenon is called permineralization.
Please enjoy the natural colors unique to natural specimens. If you zoom in further, you can see the wrinkles of the enamel.
A loupe with a magnification of 5x or higher is recommended.
It's a juvenile tooth fossil, so it doesn't feel very thick, but it has a very sharp impression.
It is preserved without chipping to the tip, and serrations (jagged parts) remain on the ridges of the teeth.
I photographed the serration using a magnifying glass.

Also, in general, it is difficult to preserve the serrations on the outer side, but a photograph of the serrations on the outer side from the side shows a clear granular structure.
When viewed with the naked eye, it looks jagged, but when you look closer, you can see that the grains are a continuous structure.
Also, in the close-up photo of the outer serration, the serration is not just a series of grains, but the structure changes slightly depending on the position, and you can see the parts that look like zippers.
In the photograph taken from the root of the tooth, it is not so thick because it is a juvenile tooth fossil, but you can clearly see that the thick enamel is on top of the dentin.
The long curve has a measurement of 33 mm.
